KUALA LUMPUR, May 23 — Hwang Capital (M) Bhd (HCM) will resume trading of its shares on Bursa Securities effective 9 am tomorrow after suspension of trading for two consecutive days, it said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia today.
In a separate filing, HCM announced that the company today received a notice of conditional voluntary take-over offer from Affin Hwang Investment Bank Bhd, on behalf of Hwang Enterprises Sdn Bhd and Hwang Lip Teik (joint offerors), to acquire all the remaining ordinary shares in HCM which are not already owned by the joint offerors at a cash offer price of RM2.65 for each offer share.
The Board, save for the Interested Directors, namely Hwang Lip Teik and Teoh Teik Kee, will deliberate on the offer and will decide whether or not to seek an alternative person to make a take-over offer for the offer shares, it added. — Bernama
