Singapore Air offers to buy Tiger Air shares at RM1.25 a share

SINGAPORE, Nov 6 — Singapore Airlines Ltd, Southeast Asia’s biggest carrier, will offer to buy shares of Tiger Airways Holdings Ltd it doesn’t already own, and delist Tiger Air.

Singapore Airlines is offering to pay 41 Singapore cents (RM1.25) in cash for Tiger Air’s shares, the carriers said in a joint statement to the stock exchange today.

Singapore Air owned 55.8 per cent of Tiger Air shares as of June. — Bloomberg
