KLCI futures open mixed amid lower cash market

KUALA LUMPUR, May 9 — The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI futures contracts (FKLI) on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mixed amid weaker sentiments on the underlying cash market. 

May 2014 declined 1.0 point to 1,859, June 2014 added 1.0 point to 1,859, September 2014 rose 2.0 points to 1,858 and December 2014 was flat at 1,857.

Turnover amounted to 665 lots while open interest stood at 27,994 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI was 2.93 points lower at 1,859.91 after 30 minutes of trading.— Bernama
