KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 20 — Shares on Bursa Malaysia turned mixed at
mid-morning today on a lack of buying support and in line with the performance of regional markets, dealers said.
At 11.10am, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) slipped 0.77 of a point to 1,806.39, after opening at 1,804.8.
Losers led gainers 332 to 235, with 329 counters unchanged, 697 untraded and 16 others suspended.
Turnover was mild with 745.6 million shares valued at RM499.6 million traded.
The Finance Index fell 25.01 points to 16,477.24, the Plantation Index
rose 61.51 points to 9,035.37 and the Industrial Index was 3.65 points lower at 3,149.09.
The FBM Emas Index dipped 12.931 points to 12,563.81, the FBMT100 Index declined 7.15 points to 12,294.51, the FBM Ace fell 14.96 points to 5,666.56, and the FBM 70 slipped 16.07 points to 14,317.
Among actives, Patimas Computers fell 2.5 sen to one sen, Malaysia Airlines fell one sen to 31.5 sen and Karambunai was flat at 3.5 sen.
As for the heavyweights, Maybank slipped four sen to RM9.61, Sime Darby was flat at RM9.75 and Axiata lost six sen to RM6.71. — Bernama
