KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 29 — United Overseas Bank Malaysia Bhd (UOB Malaysia), has appointed Kevin Lam Sai Yoke as its new Deputy Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1, 2013.

In a statement here today, UOB Malaysia said Lam will, among others, take responsibility for the bank’s corporate, commercial,Bumiputera, transaction banking and investment banking lines of business.

Lam, who has been with UOB since 2005, served first in Singapore and in UOB Malaysia from 2011, as Managing Director and Country Head of Personal Financial Services.

The bank said under his management, UOB Malaysia had tripled its total consumer wealth fee income within three years.

Meanwhile, UOB Malaysia also announced the appointment of Annie Tan Huey Ping as Managing Director of Personal Financial Services, with immediate effect. — Bernama
