KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 2 — Share prices on Bursa Malaysia remain higher at mid-day today on continued buying interest in selected blue chips, dealers said.

At lunch break, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) was 3.49 points higher at 1,772.52, with the market barometer moving between 1,769.45 and 1,774.45.

Advancers thumped decliners 351 to 240, with 320 counters unchanged, 684 untraded and 14 others suspended.

Volume stood at 973.15 million shares worth RM671.37 million. – Bernama
