Hong Kong stocks up at lunch

HONG KONG, Aug 4 — Hong Kong stocks closed this morning’s session with healthy gains following a strong lead from Wall Street and a day after figures showed a drop in new coronavirus infections in the city.

The Hang Seng Index rose 0.83 per cent, or 201.80 points, to 24,659.93. — AFP
