GUA MUSANG, Oct 11 — Two people, including a baby girl, were killed in an accident involving three cars and a motorcycle on the Gua Musang-Kuala Krai Road, Kampung Paloh 3, here this afternoon.
The Kelantan Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) stated in a release that the 5.10pm accident also resulted in seven other individuals being injured, including two who were reported to be in critical condition.
According to the statement, the accident involved three Perodua Myvi cars and a Modenas motorcycle.
“One Perodua Myvi driver was reported to be critically injured and trapped, but was successfully rescued by members of the public before the arrival of the fire and rescue team,” the statement read.
All victims were subsequently handed over to the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) medical team for further action, it added.
Following the incident, a team from the Gua Musang Fire and Rescue Station (BBP), which arrived at the scene at 6.08pm, carried out cleanup operations for accident debris and oil spills. — Bernama
