KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 25 — A woman worker died after she was believed to have been trapped in a lifter machine at a premises in Telok Panglima Garang in Kuala Langat yesterday.

According to Kosmo! Online, Kuala Langat district police chief Superintendent Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi said police received a report about the incident from a local man at about 11am.

He said the victim, who suffered serious head injuries, was taken to a nearby health clinic at about 11.20am.

“However, the victim was pronounced dead by a medical officer at the clinic. The body was sent to Banting Hospital for further action,” he said in a statement.

Mohd Akmalrizal said preliminary checks found no criminal element in the incident, while further investigations were ongoing.
