Two Kota Kinabalu bus workers come to blows over passengers

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 8 — A dispute over securing passengers is believed to have led to a fight between two bus company workers at the Inanam Bus Terminal in Kota Kinabalu last Friday.

The incident, which occurred at about 11.54am, involved two men aged 38 and 37 who were seen fighting without using any weapons, according to BuletinTV3.

Kota Kinabalu district police chief Assistant Commissioner Shahrudin Mat Husain said police received a report on the incident on the same day.

“Initial checks found that neither man suffered any injuries.

“Following the report, police detained both men at about 2.30pm the day before yesterday to assist with investigations,” he said in a statement.

He said the case is being investigated under Section 160 of the Penal Code for affray.

Earlier, a 29-second video showing the two men fighting at the Inanam Bus Terminal went viral on social media.
