KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 1 — Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil expressed his highest appreciation and gratitude to all parties who worked tirelessly to ensure the success of today’s 2026 National Day celebration.

He said that the appreciation was extended to everyone involved from the early stages of preparations until the conclusion of the celebration, including participants, security personnel, healthcare workers, media practitioners, volunteers and relevant agencies.

“A special thank you to all Malaysians who came to enliven Dataran Putrajaya, as well as the millions who watched the celebration from home.

“Your presence and spirit made this year’s celebration truly meaningful,” he said in a Facebook post yesterday.

Fahmi also described all those working behind the scenes as heroes who ensured the smooth running of the celebration.

“May the Malaysia we love continue to be blessed with prosperity, harmony and stability, and remain united in diversity. Happy National Day,” he said. — Bernama
