KUALA LUMPUR, July 31 — His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, will undergo follow-up treatment for musculoskeletal pain involving his back and hip areas.

In a statement today, Istana Negara said His Majesty had been advised by medical specialists to rest before undergoing further treatment to allow the recovery process to take place.

As a result, Sultan Ibrahim did not attend the National Heroes Day Parade at Dataran Pahlawan Negara, Putrajaya today.
