KOTA KINABALU, June 30 — Motorists using public parking spaces in the city will not be penalised for unpaid parking fees following a temporary disruption affecting the Sabah Smart Parking (SSP) application.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, DBKK Holdings Sdn Bhd said the SSP application is currently experiencing operational issues, affecting several key services relied upon by users for daily parking transactions.
Among the services impacted are digital parking fee payments, compound checking and payment, monthly parking pass purchases, credit top-ups, as well as access to the iBERSIH module and other application features.
As a result of the disruption, the company announced that enforcement action involving the issuance of parking compounds would be suspended throughout the period of the service interruption.
The temporary suspension effectively provides a parking fee holiday for motorists using city parking bays managed through the SSP system until the application resumes normal operations.
DBKK Holdings apologised for the inconvenience caused and said efforts are underway to restore the application as soon as possible.
Motorists who encounter issues or require further information may contact the DBKK Holdings Parking Management Office at KK Plaza Shopping Complex via 088-270181, 088-270182 or 012-7690181. — The Borneo Post
