KOTA TINGGI, June 27 — Former Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba will make his electoral comeback in a three-cornered contest for the Pasir Raja seat in the 16th Johor state election.

The Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate will face Mohd Fakharuddin Moslim of Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Perikatan Nasional’s (PN) Yuhanita Yunan.

Returning officer for the Pasir Raja constituency, Nurul Aishah Mohamadon, announced the list of eligible candidates at 10.43 am at the nomination centre at Dewan Arena Segitiga here today.

Dr Adham’s return to the political arena has attracted attention as he previously served as the Pasir Raja assemblyman for two terms from 2008 to 2018.

The Tenggara Umno division chief later contested and won the Tenggara parliamentary seat in the 2018 general election.

Polling for the Johor state election will be held on July 11, with early voting scheduled for July 7.
