KUALA LUMPUR, June 14 — The close relationship and strong cooperation between the Federal Government and the Sabah government remain a key foundation in ensuring the state continues to progress, prosper and enjoy more balanced and inclusive development.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed this confidence following a meeting with the Yang Dipertua Negeri of Sabah, Tun Musa Aman, at a dinner at Istana Seri Kinabalu, after completing a one-day working visit to Sabah yesterday.

“We exchanged views on various issues affecting Sabah’s future, including the state’s development agenda, strengthening the economy, social well-being and efforts to improve the people’s standard of living,” he said in a Facebook post.
