KOTA KINABALU, June 8 — Pakatan Harapan (PH) Sabah has yet to make any final decision on the logo it will use or the form of electoral cooperation it will pursue in the upcoming election, PH Sabah Information Chief Datuk Chan Foong Hin said today.

He said no discussions or final decision had been made so far by PH Sabah on the use of any logo or electoral cooperation arrangement.

“Any decision will only be announced through official channels at the appropriate time. It is inaccurate to conclude that PH Sabah has decided to contest using any particular logo,” he said in a statement.

He made the statement following a report by a local newspaper yesterday claiming that PH Sabah may contest under the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) logo in the upcoming election.

According to him, the newsreport was inaccurate and he hoped that media practitioners, would refrain from making interpretations that pre-empt the ongoing discussions involving PH Sabah.

He added that PH Sabah has always prioritised political stability, economic development and the welfare of the people, while at the same time not ruling out any possibility that can be mutually agreed upon in the interest of the state. — Bernama
