Tengku Amir Shah confers Selangor medals on 151 recipients in conjunction with Sultan’s 80th birthday

SHAH ALAM, May 22 — The Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, yesterday conferred Selangor medals on 151 recipients in conjunction with the 80th birthday celebration of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.

At the ceremony, one recipient was awarded the Pingat Kecemerlangan Sukan Selangor (PKS), while 21 individuals received Pingat Pekerti Terpilih (PPT) and 26 others were conferred the Pingat Perkhidmatan Cemerlang Selangor (PPC) medals.

In addition, 87 individuals received Pingat Jasa Kebaktian (PJK), while 16 recipients were awarded Pingat Perkhidmatan Selangor (PPS) medals. 

The second day of the investiture ceremony was held at Dewan Jubli Perak Sultan Abdul Aziz here, with the recipients coming from the districts of Hulu Selangor, Gombak, Hulu Langat, Kuala Langat, Kuala Selangor, Sabak Bernam and Sepang. 

Also present were Selangor State Assembly Speaker Lau Weng San, State Secretary Datuk Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin, State Legal Adviser Mohamad Onn Abd Aziz, State Financial Officer Datuk Haniff Zainal Abidin, State Rural Development, Unity and Consumer Affairs Committee chairman Datuk Rizam Ismail, and State Women’s Development and Social Welfare Committee chairman Anfaal Saari. — Bernama
