SHAH ALAM, May 13 — A man was killed after he was believed to have been struck by a vehicle and thrown into a two-metre-deep drain along Jalan Kapar, Batu 5, Klang, early today.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Division assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the department received a call on the incident at 3.23 am.

“Seven officers and personnel in one fire engine from the Kapar station were dispatched to the scene,” he said in a statement.

He said the man, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ministry of Health personnel. — Bernama
