Police probe after Form One student falls from school building in Shah Alam, remains in stable condition

SHAH ALAM, Nov 1 — Police have confirmed that a Form One female student at a school here was injured after falling from the first floor of the school building Thursday.

Shah Alam police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the student sustained injuries to her forehead and leg and was reported to be conscious and in stable condition.

“Yes, there was an incident involving a Form One female student falling from the first floor of the school on Thursday,” he said in a statement yesterday.

The case is being investigated under Section 507C of the Penal Code, which carries a penalty of up to one year’s imprisonment, a fine, or both if convicted. — Bernama
