KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 17 — A Universiti Malaya (UM) student was injured after reportedly falling from one of its residential colleges this afternoon, the institution confirmed today.

The university said the incident occurred around 3.30pm and the student received immediate emergency assistance.

He was then taken to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre for further treatment.

UM said it is fully cooperating with authorities in the investigation and prioritising the student’s welfare and safety.
