Teen university student dies after fall from Cyberjaya condominium

SEPANG — A 17-year-old university student died after an apparent fall from a condominium unit in Cyberjaya yesterday.

Sepang district police chief ACP Norhizam Bahaman said police were alerted to the incident via a MERS 999 call at 3.18pm regarding an unconscious man on Level 8 of the building, The Star reported.

A team dispatched to the scene found the teenager lying in a pool of blood.

Police believe the victim fell from an upper floor of the condominium where he lived, and he was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

Initial investigations by the Sepang Criminal Investigation Department found no evidence of foul play.

Consequently, the case has been classified as a sudden death, and the body has been sent to the Forensic Department at Cyberjaya Hospital for a post-mortem.
