KOTA KINABALU, Sept 15 — A landslide buried a house in Kampung Cenderakasih here today, leaving one person dead and six others missing.

Sabah Fire and Rescue Department spokesman told Bernama that a total of 11 people were affected by the incident, with four managing to escape on their own.

He said the department received a call about the incident at 10.02 am, before firemen from the Lintas Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene at 10.24 am.

“The rescue team found one victim dead. The identities of all victims have yet to be established,” he said.

He urged the public to stay away from the site as the area remains dangerous and advised residents to take precautionary measures. — Bernama
