KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 21 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was discharged from Hospital Kuala Lumpur here this morning after undergoing a minor dental operation last night.

National news agency Bernama reported the 76-year-old left the hospital grounds at 9.37am today.

A video posted by Bernama on X (formerly Twitter) showed the prime minister leaving the general hospital in a dark Volvo sedan, escorted by police outriders.

Anwar, who is also the finance minister, confirmed the surgery on his Facebook account yesterday.
