Putra Malaysia spokesperson Mohd Izzani Mubarak Ibrahim said the individual, through the "William HS Foo” Facebook account, was found to have uploaded several photographs of his pet dogs by calling them "Datuk Seri, Datuk Seri Paduka and Datuk Wira” between October and December last year.

"Today we came across several postings on Facebook deemed insulting to the royal institution.

"The titles he gave to his dogs are noble titles awarded by the palace. We respect his career as a lawyer who should know better about the laws of this country, but we are unhappy with his actions,” he told Bernama after lodging the police report at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters, here today.

Meanwhile, Dang Wangi District Police Chief ACP Noor Dellhan Yahaya, when contacted, confirmed receiving the report and said the case will be referred to the Bukit Aman Classified Crime Investigation Unit. — Bernama
