IPOH, Dec 28 — Various issues related to the construction of roads, drains and other infrastructure projects in the Tambun are expected to be resolved next month after being discussed by stake holders and related parties.
Hulu Kinta assemblyman Muhamad Arafat Varisai Mahamad said he had discussed and listened to the problems faced by the companies responsible for the projects, so that they could be completed immediately.
"We need to be fair and listen from both sides. The people have already given their trust (to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim). We want to make sure the problems do not happen again,” he told reporters after handing over food aid to 30 recipients here today.
In a recent meeting, he said Anwar, who is Tambun MP, had requested that the development in the Tambun parliamentary constituency be given priority and any problem regarding the matter be resolved immediately. — Bernama
