As of now, Kuala Selangor has the highest recovery rate at 75.6 per cent, Hulu Selangor (60.7 per cent), Petaling (60.4 per cent), Shah Alam (40.4 per cent) and Klang (0.9 per cent).

Gombak, Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Langat are yet to receive any supply.

The list of areas which have recovered can be viewed at hentitugas.airselangor.com.

"Air Selangor hopes that consumers who have received water supply will use their water prudently to ensure that the recovery process in the other affected areas runs smoothly as scheduled,” Air Selangor’s head of corporate communications, Elina Baseri said.

Elina had yesterday said that the upgrading and maintenance works for critical assets on its Sungai Selangor Phase 1 Water Treatment Plant (SSP1 WTP) were completed at 5am yesterday.

The scheduled disruption is to enable upgrading and perform maintenance works on its critical assets at SSP1 WTP.
