KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 — The traffic flow on certain stretches of major highways was reported to be slow as at 9pm today.

A spokesman of PLUS Malaysia Berhad, when contacted, said traffic was slow moving from Bukit Tagar to Bukit Beruntung, Ipoh to Gopeng, Changkat Jering to Bukit Berapit and Kuala Kangsar to Sungai Perak.

"Traffic is also slow at KM392.2 of the south-bound side from Behrang to Tanjung Malim following an accident but no lanes are blocked,” he said.

Meanwhile, a spokesman of the Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA) said traffic was slow from the Genting Sempah Tunnel heading towards the Gombak Toll Plaza and from Bentong to Bukit Tinggi.

"Traffic flow on the East Coast Highway (LPT) 1 and LPT 2 was also reported to be slow in several areas,” he added.
