Aina Nabihah murder case transferred to Seremban High Court

PORT DICKSON, May 31 — The Magistrate’s Court here today transferred the case of an army personnel who was charged with murdering his nine-year-old daughter in January to the Seremban High Court.

Magistrate Siti Khairiah Abdul Razak made the decision after allowing the application by deputy public prosecutor A. Ashwini.

However, the date for trial has yet to be fixed.

The accused, Mohammad Abdullah Mohamed, 35, clad in orange lock-up attire nodded his head after the application by Ashwini was allowed by Siti Khairiah.

On February 12, Mohammad Abdullah was charged with murdering Nur Aina Nabihah at Taman Vista Jaya, Lukut near here between 8.30pm and 11.30pm on January 31.

It was reported that Aina died as a result of severe abuse and a post-mortem revealed that she sustained kidney injuries, ruptured intestines and fractured ribs. — Bernama
