KUALA LUMPUR, May 29 — Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng said the announcement on bonus for civil servants in conjunction with Aidilfitri will most likely be made by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad tomorrow.

"It might be announced by PM tomorrow, so please wait,” he told reporters after attending the Wesak Day celebration at the Maha Vihara Buddhist Temple in Brickfields here today.

Yesterday, Dr Mahathir had announced that civil servants in the country would be receiving Aidilfitri bonus but the quantum had yet to be decided.

There will be a Cabinet meeting tomorrow.

More that 5,000 Buddhists joined the celebration at the temple. — Bernama
