SEREMBAN, May 23 — The portfolios for all the 10 exco members who were sworn-in before the Yang Di-Pertuan Besar Negri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir this morning would be announced tomorrow.

Mentri Besar Aminuddin Harun said all the portfolios would be finalised after the exco meeting at Wisma Negeri, here, the first held after the Pakatan Harapan (PH) formed the state government.

"Today, we do not announce the portfolios yet. Tomorrow, after the exco meeting we will announce the full list of the portfolios involved and at the same time, all the exco members would enter their respective offices to begin work,” he said.

"I hope all the people selected will work hard as a team to ensure that this state can develop and achieve the aspiration of everyone,” he told reporters here today.

Aminuddin said there would be no new portfolios created for the state exco members, on the other hand, there will be additional tasks namely those concerning non-Islamic Religious Affairs.

Asked on the 5-3-2 formation that is the composition of Assemblymen representing the DAP, PKR and Amanah in the state government exco line-up, Aminuddin who is also Negri Sembilan PH chairman said it would only be decided after the actual results of the 14th General Election (GE14) on May 9 were released.

"We discussed the appointment of the excos after the GE14 results were released and discussed amicably and Alhamdulillah, I feel the 5-3-2 combination is the best combination and I feel it is good and fair for everyone,” he said.

Aminuddin, who is also the Negri Sembilan PKR chairman and Sikamat Assemblyman, said however, those selected as exco members would have their performance reviewed.

However, he said, the Assemblymen chosen as exco members comprised those with expertise in their respective fields.

Asked on the declaration of assets, the mentri besar said it was a written pledge in the Negri Sembilan PH manifesto and must be fulfilled by PH elected representatives in this state. — Bernama
