KUALA LUMPUR, May 20 — DAP’s Liew Chin Tong is considering filing an election petition over his defeat in the Ayer Hitam federal seat to MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong.

Liew posted on his Facebook page to claim that he has uncovered evidence of bribery and intimidation, and urged those with relevant information to come forward.

"We are in a new era in Malaysia. We don’t have to live in disappointment and suffering,” he wrote.

Liew did not say if or when he will file the petition.

He lost by 303 votes in the May 9 general election.
