MACC leaves Najib’s house after almost two hours

KUALA LUMPUR, May 18 — Two cars carrying Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers have just left the residence of former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
The two Proton cars, with about eight officers inside, left the former prime minister’s compound at around 5.45pm.
They are believed to have arrived at Najib’s home at around 4pm.
Both cars were heavily tinted, and attempts to flag down the officers for comments were unsuccessful.
Najib is under investigation for suspected money laundering over his brainchild,1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
