IPOH, May 12 — Tualang Sekah assemblyman Datuk Nolee Ashilin Mohammed Radzi is ready to face the music from Barisan Nasional (BN) for supporting Pakatan Harapan (PH).

Nolee explained her decision was made in the interest of the people.

"The state’s stability and the people’s well-being cannot be jeopardised just because political parties cannot form the government.”

"In view of that, I took the stand to support the formation of a government based on the given option, that is to support a MB candidate to allow the formation of a government, which is needed by the people.”

In a statement issued through her Facebook page tonight, Nolee reiterated she was still representing BN.

"I did not jump to other party and I am still with Barisan,” she said before ending her statement by apologising.

Rumours have been swirling over the identity of the two BN representatives who supported PH which allowed the coalition to form a government with a simple majority today.

In the general election on Wednesday, Barisan won 27 seats, Pakatan 29 seats while PAS won three seats.
