IGP: ‘All is under control’

KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 — Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun said today the post-GE14 situation is so far under control and urged the rakyat to keep calm as they wait for an official announcement from the Election Commission.

"At this time, we advise the rakyat to stay calm and ignore and fake news spreading around regarding disharmony in the country.

"As of now, the situation is under control,” he said in a statement.

Mohamad Fuzi also urged party supporters to not stage a protest which would lead to public unrest.

"PDRM will keep close eyes to avoid any situation which would put our country’s peace on the line.”
