The Star Online reported state police chief Datuk Mohd Khalil Kader Mohd as saying that the incident happened around noon.

"The suspects believed that the victims were foreigners trying to cast their votes during Polling Day.

"They acted aggressively on the victims but the police presence at the school was able to calm the situation,” the portal quoted him as saying.

Mohd Khalil said that the suspects, aged between 21 and 27, were detained at the scene, and the case is being investigated under Section 147 of the Penal Code, which handles the offence of rioting.
