MetMalaysia: Fine weather for morning of polling day

KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 — The Malaysian Meteorological Department has forecast fine weather in most of the states on the morning of the 14th general election (GE14) polling day on May 9.

According to its website, thunderstorm, isolated rain and cloudy skies are predicted in the evening in most states, including Penang, with forecast of rain and thunderstorm in the morning and evening.

In the federal territories of Kuala Lumpur and Labuan, as well as Melaka, the weather forecast is fine in the morning and evening.

In Johor, fine weather is expected, with thunderstorm predicted in several areas, including Segamat, Labis, Ledang, Kluang, Pagoh, Bakri, Simpang Renggam dan Sembrong in the evening.

The weather is expected to be fine in the morning in Sarawak, while in Sabah, in the morning and evening, but isolated thunderstorm, rain and cloudy skies are also predicted at several places in the evening in the two states. 

The temperatures will hover between 24°C and a maximum of 35°C. — Bernama
