SUBANG JAYA, May 1 — Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) billboards here fell victim to vandals, with red paint seen splashed across them this morning.

Despite that, only the photos of DAP’s Subang Jaya state seat candidate Michelle Ng Mei Sze were smeared with paint, while PKR’s Subang parliamentary seat candidate Wong Chen’s photos were left unscathed.

Malay Mail found at least three of such billboards were vandalised here.

One was found at the traffic light junction in USJ 11, another at the intersection in USJ 8, and the third fronting a T-Junction in USJ 5.

Commenting on the issue, Ng told Malay Mail she would rise above the threats and would not stoop to the level of the vandals.

"I won’t be affected by it. Whoever it is responsible for it, I am going to forgive that person,” Ng said when contacted.

"In my campaign, I will rise about this. We will never resort to putting down the other side.”

She added the vandalism was an attack she had not expected, but she was not going to allow it affect her.

"I thought I would have receive comments about my age and my lack of experience, I did not expect something like this,” she said.

Ng is vying for the Subang Jaya state seat in a three-cornered fight between her, Barisan Nasional’s Chong Ah Watt, and independent candidate Toh Sin Wah.
