SHAH ALAM, April 27 — A detainee under the Prevention of Crime Act (POCA), who was recently released from custody, was gunned down inside his house in Jalan Morib, Tongkah, Banting near here, today.

Selangor CID chief SAC Fadzil Ahmat said in the incident at about 2pm, the 34-year-old victim had just returned home from an outing.

"The victim returned home at 1.30pm and about half an hour later, two people on a motorcycle stopped in front of the house.

"One of them, who wore dark full-face helmet, barged into the house and fired several shots in his direction,” he said in a statement here. — Bernama
