KUANTAN, April 24 — Former Raub DAP vice-chairman Chin Choy Hee has been named as PAS candidate for the Tras state seat in the 14th General Election (GE14).

The announcement was made by Pahang PAS Commissioner Rosli Jabar after Chin confirmed his membership in the PAS Supporters' Assembly Hall (DHPP) today.

Chin confirmed that he had left DAP two days ago. He had been with the party since 2007.

The new development took the tally of state seats contested by PAS in Pahang to 41, with only the Triang seat left out.

On April 19, Rosli also announced that PAS would contest in all 14 parliamentary seats in Pahang.

Meanwhile, DAP has confirmed that Chow Yu Hui will defend the Tras seat, while the BN candidate has yet to be named. — Bernama
