"One of the deceased’s neighbours made the call and we dispatched a police team over to the scene.

"We then found the decomposing body of the deceased sprawled across and blocking one of the room’s door,” he said.

Mohd Zani said the deceased was identified as Chan Yip Yong, 66, who was last seen by neighbours on Friday.

He said the police would have to wait for post-mortem findings to determine the exact cause of death.
