Collapsed crane removed, traffic back to normal

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 27 — The collapsed crane at the construction site of the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang (SUKE) Elevated Expressway project near Dataran Ukay here has been completely removed.

According to Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (ProLintas) spokesman, the crane was removed to the road shoulder at 8.50pm.

"The affected roads have been reopened while the traffic flow is back to normal,” he said when contacted by Bernama.

Thousands of motorists travelling along the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) yesterday were caught in a massive traffic jam especially from Ulu Klang to Ampang after a crane collapsed at the site of the construction project at 9.58am. — Bernama
