GUA MUSANG, Feb 23 ― Gua Musang Member of Parliament Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah is confident that Barisan Nasional (BN) will be able to bring home more than 500,000 Kelantan people who have migrated to other parts of the country, if the party was given the mandate to rule the state.
He said he was convinced that BN would be able to rebuild Kelantan in all aspects comprising education, economy and infrastructure as being enjoyed by the people in other states.
"Kelantanese have to migrate to other states for over 20 years because PAS is unable to develop Kelantan and fails to provide employment opportunities to the people in the state.
"GE14 (14th General Election) is the best time for the people to support BN because only the BN can restore the situation,” he told reporters after opening the Pos Brooke Community Hall here today.
Also present were Galas state assemblyman Ab Aziz Yusof, Kelantan Federal Development Department director Datuk Yahaya Mamat and Kelantan/Terengganu Orang Asli Development Department director Hashim Alang Abdul Hamid.
As such, Tengku Razaleigh urged BN to come out with strategies to win the hearts of the Kelantan people in GE14. ― Bernama
