KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 17 ― The flow of traffic on major highways has been reported to be generally smooth this morning.

A PLUS Malaysia Berhad spokesman when contacted said traffic along the highways managed by the company was smooth as of 10.15am.

According to the spokesman, traffic was building up in several areas from Tanjung Malim to Behrang, however, it was still under control despite a minor accident reported at KM398.2 causing the left and the middle lanes to be blocked.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said only the area before the Gombak Toll Plaza heading towards the east coast experienced slow traffic.

"However, the traffic flow on the East Coast Highways 1 and 2 have been reported to be smooth,” he said.
