PETALING JAYA, Feb 13 — The Fire and Rescue Department has extinguished the fire that engulfed the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) building at Jalan Gasing earlier today.

Pictures and videos circulating online earlier showed a fire raging at the Petaling Jaya landmark, with the billowing smoke visible from kilometres away.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, as is information on possible casualties from the incident.

Fire damage appeared severe and extensive, however, with the entire exterior of the building showing signs of heavy scorching.
