KLUANG, Feb 11 — The Registrar of Societies (RoS) has been urged to take immediate action on complaints lodged by Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) members who claimed that the party had violated its constitution.

Former Kluang PPBM coordinator Arjuna Putra Ali said since October last year, over 400 complaints were lodged by party members nationwide, but to date RoS had not taken any action.

"If nothing is resolved, all the complainants will hold a peaceful demonstration in front of the RoS headquarters,” he said here today.

Arjuna Putra also regarded PPBM as a cowboy party for the party’s failure in finalising on its own constitution.

He said the complaints lodged to RoS concerned five issues namely holding of the party’s annual general meeting (AGM), membership fee, membership registration without the knowledge of the nominees, appointment of division chiefs who were cronies of top leadership and failure of the party to table its financial statements. — Bernama
