Floods hit Kuala Selangor, 46 forced to evacuate

SHAH ALAM, Jan 25 ― Floods have struck two villages in the district of Kuala Selangor, forcing 13 families comprising 46 people to evacuate.

The victims, from Kampung Seri Aman, Sungai Buloh, and Kampung Ladang Tuan Mee, were moved to a relief centre of the Kuala Selangor District Council in Desa Coalfields last night.

The Kuala Selangor District Disaster Management Committee secretariat said in a statement that the number of evacuees remained at 46 as at 8.30am today. ― Bernama
