JOHOR BARU,  Jan 17 ― The number of flood victims in Segamat has dropped to 33 people from eight families as at 8am today, from 34 people (nine families) last night.

Johor Health, Environment, Education and Information Committee chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat said 29 of them, from seven families, were at the relief centre at the Gemereh 4 Batu Badak Community Hall, while four others from a family were being accommodated at the Kampung Tekam Youth Activity Centre.

"All the flood victims are resident of Kampung Seberang Batu Badak andKampung Tekam,” he said in a statement today. ― Bernama
