KUANTAN, Jan 11 — The number of flood victims in two districts in Pahang remains at 284 comprising 76 families this morning.

According to the Social Welfare Department’s flood information portal, 254 people from 67 families are sheltered at five evacuation centres in Pekan.

The five centres are at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Temai (93 people), Kampung Pulau Manis (75), Balai Raya Kampung Tanjung Pulai (39), SK Acheh (nine) and Kampung Lamir (38). 

In Raub, 30 people from nine families are staying at the centre at Masjid Kampung Kuala Semantan. — Bernama
