Raja Muda Selangor joins Klang bridge run

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 17 — Raja Muda Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah participated in the Klang Third Bridge Run 2017 which attracted some 5,000 runners here today.

Tengku Amir took part in the 5km 'Family Fun Run' category.

He was the "star attraction’ at the event with many wanting to say hello and take selfies.

Tengku Amir, who arrived for the run at 7.15am, also flagged off the men and women’s open 10km cycling races at the event.

There was also a 10km run for men and women 40 years and above.

This third edition of the run was held in conjunction with the birthday celebration of Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah of Selangor. The bridge was named Jambatan Raja Muda Nala by Sultan Sharafuddin at the opening ceremony on Nov 19, after the Sultan’s first prince. — Bernama
