KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 30 — Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia said today that he is willing to debate Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Abang Johari Openg on the Malaysia Agreement 1963.

Speaking to reporters in Parliament today, Pandikar said that he is willing to take on in a debate with anyone who disagrees with him.

"Even the Sarawak Chief Minister, any time. In front of you guys (media), anytime,” he said.

Pandikar in his recent book, "Berpisah Tiada”, reportedly stated that the Malaysia Agreement was not legally binding.

Abang Johari however had stressed on the importance of the agreement.

"If he disagrees with me 10 times, I disagree with him 100 times,” Pandikar, a Sabahan, said.

"I am used to listening what the Penang Chief Minister and the Selangor Mentri Besar says all the time — so it doesn’t make a difference to me what is the opinion of the Sarawak Chief Minister,” he added.
